Dr. Susan Barr
MD, ABOG
Dr. Barr, a urogynecologist in Little Rock, returned home to Arkansas in 2011 and became the state’s first fellowship-trained and board-certified urogynecologist. Her advanced training in gynecologic, urologic, and colorectal surgical techniques allows her to undertake comprehensive treatment of pelvic floor disorders. She is humbled to help educate women about the normalcy of these conditions and to offer a range of options from conservative to surgical management.
After graduating from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Dr. Barr trained at St. Louis University, completing residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. In addition to clinical work, Barr is active in the American Urogynecologic Society and enjoys mentoring young professionals. She also loves to exercise and travel with her family.
Dr. Sallie Oliphant

Dr. Oliphant, a urogynecologist in Little Rock, has been providing specialized Urogynecology care to the women of Arkansas since 2013. She chose Urogynecology because of the profound impact treatment can have on a woman’s quality of life. She enjoys educating her patients about their conditions so they can be well-informed and make choices that meet their personal treatment goals.
After graduation from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Dr. Oliphant pursued residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. She has a particular interest in the effects of childbirth on pelvic health and continues to do research in this area. In her free time, she enjoys running, baking, and reading.
